Understanding Transaction Broker, Forms & License Law

This course takes a close look at the many changes of the new SC real estate law.  Students will be guided through the law highlighting the major changes that they need to be aware of.  It will also focus on transaction brokerage with a point by point explanation of when, who and why one might choose to use this form of real estate relationship.  New forms that licensees need to be aware of and when they need to use them will also be covered.

This course covers the theory and practical application of Foreclosure laws and processes in South Carolina, and what an investor or purchaser needs to know to successfully purchase foreclosure properties.  Similarly, the pros and cons of bidding at Tax Lien Sales as well as the legal background and strategies for this type of investment are covered in detail.

How to Practice Safe Agency!  And Make Money!

1:30pm – 5:30pm    4hrs   CEE 787

 

Dynamic case studies.  Spirited discussions and some disagreements with fellow students will help you determine the course of action you need to take to stay on the safe agency path.  State law, company policy, common sense and The Golden Rule all play an important part of this revealing 4 hour course.  

Policy and Procedures

REALTOR SCHOOL POLICY AND PROCEDURES

Admission:
Classes are open to anyone 18 years of age or older, regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, family status or handicap.  To comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act, please contact the school two weeks prior to class, so that reasonable accommodations may be made.

Mandatory Attendance:
Registering for the class requires you to attend the entire course hours listed above (Credit Hours).  If for any reason you are unable to attend the entire class, you will not receive credit.

Refund/Cancellation:
In the event a class must be cancelled by the school, students will receive a full refund.  Classes may be cancelled if a minimus of 10 students do not register, or in the event of circumstances beyond our control.  In the event you wish to cancel this agreement and receive a refund, cancellation must be in writing and submitted to the school 2 business days prior to class.  No refund will be given after that time, however the tuition may be transferred to a future class.  No refunds or transfers will be granted once a class has begun. 
There is a $25 fee for any returned check.
