Have you made the commitment to the real estate industry?  If the answer is yes, than make a commitment to your REALTOR® Association.

By joining a committee you will increase your knowledge of the industry by sharing ideas and different perspectives.  It allows you to network with your peers gaining you a competitive edge when working together on a transaction.  You will make new friends by meeting new and interesting people.  

When serving a on committee, you know your time will be well spent by contributing to your professional organization dedicated to the highest level of ethical service to its members and the public.

Community Outreach - promotes active involvement of members in the community to reinforce the REALTOR® brand by engaging in charitable work and events. 2016 events include Nonprofit Fair, The Blood Alliance Blood Drive, Community Spaghetti Dinner, and REALTORS® Helping Real People.   Meets 9-10 times per year.

Legislative/RPAC - monitors local, state, and federal legislative issues affecting private property rights and real estate related matters. Recommends any necessary actions regarding such proposed legislation or ordinances to the Board of Directors. Subcommittees include: RPAC Fundraising, Candidate Screening, and Economic Development Summit. Meets 9-10 times per year and has frequent guest speakers.

Professional Development - researches, recommends, develops and conducts monthly educational and technology programs for members to enhance their skills, reduce their risk, and increase their knowledge of the local market. Meets 9-10 times per year.

Annual Golf and Tennis Tournament - coordinates and plans the annual golf and tennis tournament. Solicits sponsors and markets the event. All net proceeds are distributed to local charities.  Meets Jan - May.

REALTOR® Service Award - reviews and recommends revisions to the REALTOR Service Award application. Process and approves applications of awards. Meets two times in January.

Sustainability and Environmental - focus on local green and sustainability initiatives and its affect on the quality of life. Educates members on the issues.   Meets quarterly.

Young Professionals Network -  (new for 2017) In a field that is a second career for many people, younger real estate practitioners often strive for a way to connect with each other and tap into valuable resources that will help them gain business savvy and succeed.  This is for the young and young at heart.



REALTORS® Helping REALTORS ® - markets to the membership the Foundation established for REALTORS needing financial assistance during difficult times. Creates fundraising event when funds need to be replenished. Meets as needed.
