Why would you not use a REALTOR®?  Working with a REALTOR® can save you time, money and problems. Results of an independent survey conducted by the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) concludes:

• Nearly 8 out of 10 consumers believe REALTORS® can show buyers a better and broader selection of homes than they can find on their own.
• 74% agree that using a real estate broker saves time.
• 70% agree that real estate professionals make buying or selling a home much easier.

What exactly is a REALTOR®?

A REALTOR® is a person who has earned a real estate license, and has decided to become a true professional by joining their local, state and national associations of REALTORS®. Only those members can use the world-wide registered trade mark, REALTOR®, after their name.

REALTORS® adhere to a strict Code of Ethics and are expected to maintain a higher level of knowledge of the process of buying and selling real estate.  REALTORS® are advocates for fair housing, private property rights and the value of homeownership in their communities.

Home buyers and sellers have a wealth of information available to them through the internet; however, a REALTOR® has the local data statistics, knows the local market, and the various lifestyle choices in the Lowcounty.  If you are buying or selling a home, you can be sure that your REALTOR® will give you honest, knowledgeable, competent service in a confidential manner.
