Jean Beck

Jean Beck has served as the Executive Vice President of the Hilton Head Area Association of Realtors® since January 2008, where she is responsible for the management of a 850 plus-member professional organization. Her job duties include ensuring compliance with the governing laws and documents pertaining to the 501 (c)(6)entity, managing personnel and programs, as well as oversight of a 14-member Board of Directors and approximately 20 committees and task forces. She is also assists the public and REALTORS® with ethics and professional standards complaints.

Jean began working for the Association in September 2006, following three years of sales experience as a REALTOR®. She has served on many committees at HHAAOR, as well as the Board of Directors. Prior to real estate, Jean had an extensive management career as Operations Supervisor of a Corporate Travel Reservation Center.

Jean is a member of the Hilton Head/Bluffton Chamber of Commerce, Zonta Club of Hilton Head, and a choir member of her parish. Jean is originally from Connecticut, she and her husband Jim live in Hilton Head Plantation and have two children and three grandchildren.

 

 

 

 

Michelle joined our Association August 2012 as the Education and Events Manager. Her duties include maintaining continuing education records for students, classes, forms, tuition and costs. She facilitates committees in selection of courses and instructors not only for Continuing Education but also for Professional Development. Michelle also assists with new member orientation classes.  

Michelle works with other committees planning events, and works directly with outside venues negotiating contracts and event set up.

Michelle was in real estate with a major homebuilder selling new construction for eight years. She lives in Palmetto Hall with her daughter.

 

 

 

 

 

Jocelyn joined our Association January 2012 as the Government Affairs Director.  Jocelyn has multiple years experience in managing and advocating on business and non-profit issues, as well as effective fundraising strategies for non-profit organizations. Her duties include increasing the Association’s strength in the legislative and advocacy issues important to our local REALTORS® and increasing participation in fundraising activities to support RPAC’s ability to secure the continued success of the real estate industry.

Jocelyn is a member of The Rotary Club of Hilton Head and enjoys fishing, reading, and music. She lives on the Island with her husband, David and daughter, Jessica.

Susan joined the REALTOR® Association in October 2007. Previously with SunTrust, she came into contact with many of our Realtors on a regular basis. Susan serves our members by sending pass-thru eblasts, event coordination and registration, directing and responding to inquiries and disseminating information. Susan is married to her husband, Frank and lives in Bluffton.
