EDUCATION AND PROGRAMS MANAGER
Hilton Head Area REALTORS (HHAR) is the second largest trade association in Beaufort and Jasper counties, South Carolina. HHAR is known for great service, great people, and great engagement in the communities our members serve. Our purpose is to enhance our members professionalism and success through education, provide our members with resources they can use in their business, and to help shape and build the communities where we live, work and play.
Provide program management for the education department including continuing education, professional development and event logistics.
Assess member’s educational needs, determine which products to offer, price points, scheduling and margin. Create new ways to deliver relevant course materials.
Research new course content and design sources, including REEA and NAR, and recommend and implement changes. Review evaluations and make appropriate alterations in classes and instructors. Assist in course and instructor development workshops. Coordinate recruitment and training for new instructors. Assist in New Member Orientation Classes.
Work with the communications department to write promotional ads for Professional Development, MCE classes, and all other products of the school on the website, social media and e-blasts. Measure and record satisfaction survey information. Counsel prospective students by phone and in person. Follow-up on prospective and former students.
Maintaining records on students, classes, forms, tuition and costs. Act as liaison with South Carolina Real Estate Commission on approval and renewal of classes, instructors and provider licensing.
Serve as a staff liaison to the Professional Development Team and other committees, work groups, task forces as assigned.
Plans, develop, implements and organizes all events in coordination with staff and volunteers ensuring event logistics such as registration, AV, menu, and primary point of contact for venue facility.
Other duties as assigned.
Experience in the real estate profession and/or three or more years’ experience related within the real estate education, events and program delivery.
Technical experience with online delivery (webinar, Zoom), distant learning, hybrid delivery and project management. GrowthZone experience a plus.
Positive and strong interpersonal skills and strong customer service. Ability to handle several projects in organized manner.
