Launch The Leader In You
leadershipHHAR is focused on developing and inspiring future REALTOR® leaders for our industry. This seven-month program will enhance your skills and knowledge of the REALTOR® organization, industry, and identify with the influence and impact real estate has on the communities we serve.
As a member of leadershipHHAR, you will experience
- Small group discussions of the organization and challenges of leadership
- Ways to refine your presentation skills and media training
- To broaden your understanding of policies that effect the real estate industry and the ability of the American Dream of homeownership.
- Develop leadership skills to be applied as an association leader and in your business.
By becoming a member of leadershipHHAR you will foster friendships and engage in the evolution of the industry for generations to come.
Program
September 18 This Is the Start of Something Big | 2:00 – 4:30pm Social to follow.
October 3 Fear to Fabulous | 9:00am – 12:00pm lunch to follow
October 23 We Are More Than A Card | 2:00pm – 4:00pm includes ticket to Annual Oyster Roast
November 19 Lunch and Learn with Past Presidents | 11:30am – 1:30pm
January 8 Leadership SCR | 10:00am – 2:00pm includes lunch
February 11- 12 Capital Conference Plus | overnight Columbia includes conference, accommodations, and meals
March 9 The Strength of History 10:00am – 2:00pm includes lunch
March 31 Graduation Celebration! 5:30pm
Participants will also be required:
To complete Commitment to Excellence online program
Attend one town or county meeting with our Government Affairs Director

Criteria for Participation
Two years experience in the real estate industry
Must be a member in good standing with Hilton Head Area REALTORS
Must have served on a committee or agree to participate on one committee in 2020
Candidate will make themselves available for a brief interview by the Selection Committee
Attendance policy: Participants are expected to attend all events and additional requirements
Cost $300
